After graduating from Eastern Florida State College, Jen immediately went into the construction and fabrication industry. After gaining experience in custom cabinetry shops and casework, she moved on to themed constructions, museum displays, and custom fixtures. With her work ethic and positive attitude, Jen has been a critical member of our production team!

John started his professional career in trailer and trucking management, overseeing 9,000 trailers. He joined the Mecca team with 25 years of experience and has been a leading figure in our facilities management team. When John is not at work, he likes to draw or anything to keep him busy!

Once he graduated from Drexel University, Joe started his professional career creating theater and entertainment sets. After working for various production companies, Joe joined the Mecca team with more than 25 years of experience in design, rigging, and construction.

After Kathy graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BFA in Fine Arts, she started her scenic journey by working for theme parks. Kathy jumped right on board when she joined the Mecca team and led the scenic crew for some of our largest productions yet!

Zakk joined our team in 2016 as a carpenter in the shop. Over the years, he has shown his true passion for production and fabrication and is now leading his production team. When Zakk is not in the office, he can be found outdoors, hunting, fishing, or playing with his kids.

Tammi started her professional construction experience as a scenic artist, mostly finishing and painting. However, after a few years, she decided to move over to the financial side of the business and worked as a purchasing manager for 37 years. Over the years, she has still kept her passion for painting and using it as a way to destress, along with being outdoors either hiking, canoeing, or camping.

Piper gained her Architecture Certificate from Chabot College in Hayward, CA, and immediately dove into the construction industry. She worked as a civil engineer for multiple years designing neighborhoods and roads. After the housing boom ended, Piper moved to Orlando and started working for various production companies building up their design departments. Recently she joined our team and has been a fantastic asset to us!

Lee started his professional career by working in carpentry, fiberglass, and painting in his dad's shop. He later moved on and worked as a technical consultant overseeing design and manufacturing for ride vehicles. Since Lee has joined the team, he has worked on numerous projects and shown his strong work ethic.

Scott found his specialty for static figures early on by working in his dad’s shop. He later worked in the movie industry and eventually owned his own fiberglass company. For the next 20 years, Scott continued to grow his expertise in the fiberglass industry and became known for his static figures. Once he joined our team, he immediately went to work and set up our fiberglass department and has been growing it ever since!

After graduating from Seminole State College with a Bachelors in Construction Management, Donelle started working for a roofing company as a receptionist. Over multiple years she worked her way up to project assistant, then project engineer, and finally project manager. Just recently, Donelle joined us, and we are so blessed to have her experience in the field on our team!
